Project Details

Migrating fish could not get past the existing dam. Dam needed repair and had a non-functioning water control gate.

Patched the existing dam where it was cracked and had faults. Manufactured a 6’x6’ manual water control gate; cut a section of dam; removed the old control gate; poured foundation for the new gate and fish ladder; installed a new water control gate.

Built and installed aluminum gates for the fish ladder. Formed up and poured a Denil fish ladder. Worked closely with Dennis Weeks at Bayside Custom to design and install all walkways and railings. Built and installed aluminum gates for the fish ladder.

Placed rip-rap on the far side of the dam and set other erosion control measures. Made trail improvements: cleared trail and added gravel.
